Coverage
In 1986 Danny Poole, Sharin's first president passed away and Mac Combs became president. In that year, Sharin' Foodservice expanded into South Carolina to address the growing trend of the Carolinas as one market. This move allowed manufacturers the opportunity to have continuous representation across the two Carolinas. This is a trend that many of Sharin's competitors have since followed. This move has been the key to Sharin's tremendous growth. We have recently added specialists to our staff to enhance the services we provide to our customers. Our Corporate chef helps operators develop new menu ideas that bring in repeat business. We have also added a non foods specialist that helps expand our product offerings into the paper products arena.
